What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser. Similar browser storage can remember a choice without creating a conventional cookie. UK rules apply to both.
Necessary preference storage
MoveMeasure stores your cookie choice under movemeasure_cookie_choice so we can respect it on later visits. It records only “accepted” or “rejected” and expires after approximately six months. This is necessary to provide the privacy choice you requested.
Optional analytics
If analytics is active and you select “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics may set identifiers used to produce aggregated visitor and usage statistics. This helps us understand whether the calculators are useful and where the site needs improvement. It is not loaded before consent.
Changing your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer at any time. Rejecting analytics does not affect the calculators. You can also remove stored website data through your browser settings.
Affiliate tracking
When affiliate links are introduced, the linked provider may place its own tracking technology after you leave MoveMeasure. We will identify affiliate links before you click them. The destination provider’s cookie and privacy policies will apply on its website.
