Who is responsible for the website?
MoveMeasure is an independent UK website and is the controller of personal information processed specifically for its operation. Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@movemeasure.co.uk.
Calculator information
The quantities and details you enter into the calculators stay in your browser while the page is open. MoveMeasure does not receive, save or associate those entries with you. They are cleared when you refresh or leave the page, or when you use the reset button.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information when a page is requested, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, approximate time and security events. This is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service.
Optional analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate use of the website, such as which calculators are opened and which pages are visited. Analytics will load only after you choose “Accept analytics”. Our lawful basis is consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings. Analytics is not used to change your calculator result.
Affiliate links and other websites
Some future links may be affiliate links. When you follow one, the destination provider may use its own tracking technology and process information under its own privacy policy. Those businesses act independently from MoveMeasure. We do not receive your payment details or handle your order.
Sharing, retention and international transfers
Information is shared only with service providers needed to host, secure and measure the site, or where required by law. Technical records are retained according to those providers’ operational and security schedules. If an analytics provider processes information outside the UK, we require recognised safeguards to be used where applicable.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Because MoveMeasure does not create calculator accounts or profiles, we may hold little or no information capable of identifying you.
